The vast majority of the opposition to Trump, fierce as it may be, is against the deeply damaging policy decisions and diplomatic disasters that he comes out with every day. Starting trade wars, alienating allies, destroying the environment, coarsening the dialogue in america, just to name a few things are deserving of opposition and of criticism. I assume you're not suggesting that a president is immune to criticism just by virtue of having been elected. So who are you criticizing in these analogies? Those who still question the legitimacy of the 2016 election? Those are a small minority, and therefore you're utilizing a a straw man in your arguments.</p>
