A bit of nostalgia

This video from the early 50s landed in my inbox this morning.  Watching it over breakfast I couldn't help but be charmed by its innocence... and amazed by how far we've come.  I have no complaints about my own arrival and absorption into Israeli society.

All that needs to be said about the "special" nature of the State you call your country.. adding abit of politics as to how it should OR how this "special" nature needs to be perceived messes the whole picture. That is all that is to be said about the special nature of Israel.

3 points:
1. Look how tiny Be'er Sheva was and compare it to today's metropolis.
2. Jerrilyn's error: Abraham's servant did not find Rebbecah in Be'er Sheva, rather in Aram Naharayim (modern day Iraq).
3. George had more costume changes than Rihanna.
