I stand corrected
[recently overheard]
"Women are Angels.
And when someone breaks our wings,
we simply continue to fly...usually on a broomstick.
We're flexible like that."

I'm just hoping you didn't overhear it inside your own home... :-)

I just read that as: [recently overhead]

I trust this does NOT reflect your thinking. This might have been "cute" when cars had to be crank-stated by hand. It was still a men's room attitude as late as 1980 or so. But in the 21st C., it is lamentably neanderthal. Broomsticks are strictly for Harry Potter.

To be clear, I overheard a woman saying this.

"To be clear, I overheard a woman saying this."
As the line "We're flexible like that" would seem to imply. Had the line been "They're flexible like that," it would have an entirely different meaning.

I have heard a few women say it too and might even know some it would apply to, or maybe not. ;)
