A chip off the old block

Did I mention that at our town's Independence Day ceremony, a member of our family was on stage performing in front of an appreciative audience of screaming fans... and it wasn't me?

Gilad YH

The boy did his old man proud.

In French, there is a saying which says that dogs don't give birth to kittens!

I missed the Yom HaAtzmaut celebration, but caught him at the Yom HaZikaron ceremony. The kid has talent.

zahava... yes of course. I simply meant that as a former professional musician, I was very proud to see him following in the family tradition. :-)

Ilana-Davita... To quote the film 'When Harry Met Sally', "Is one of us supposed to be a DOG in this scenario?!" :-) Just kidding, I know what you meant... and thank you.

Ben Chorin... Which one, the one in Efrat or at Kfar Etzion?

Efrat. I didn't realize we were just a pit stop...

My oldest is spending her lunch hour working on banners for the event formerly known as the Salute to Israel parade. As someone who did color war art work and play backdrops while ignoring my bunk I was shepping a lot of nachat at her activities. I think we all love it when our kids follow in our footsteps :)

what kinda strat?

Posted by: Wry Mouth | May 26, 2011 7:18:15 AM

Wry Mouth ... His guitar is actually a Epiphone Les Paul, but since he was one of a few bands performing one after another, he ended up using the American strat of the guitarist in the band that played before his. Now he is after me to let him upgrade to an American Deluxe Ash Stratocaster. [~sigh~]
