In just five more years you'll hear the kids say things about how blogging feels sooooo 2010ish.
ProphetJoe commented on 'Body Surfing the Web'tag:typepad.com,2003:6a00d8341c581e53ef0147e3bbc96e970b2011-04-04T18:16:28Z2011-04-04T18:16:28ZProphetJoehttp://www.prophetjoe.comI totally agree with you, Trepp. I have 6-10 blogs that I've found incredibly fascinating, only to find that the...
I totally agree with you, Trepp. I have 6-10 blogs that I've found incredibly fascinating, only to find that the blogger has quit updating it.

Sometimes it's burnout. I know I used to post regularly and now I post infrequently. Sometimes the real world becomes too busy for blogging... and sometimes they move to a new medium, like Twitter (the bane of my existence).
At The back of the Hill commented on 'Body Surfing the Web'tag:typepad.com,2003:6a00d8341c581e53ef014e605c2359970c2011-04-04T00:41:38Z2011-04-04T00:41:38ZAt The back of the Hillhttp://atthebackofthehill.blogspot.com/More than five years. To me, the most poignant example is "To Kill a Mockingbird". The craft, artistry, and care that went into writing that book should have spawned a whole career, but that's not what happened. What distinguishes the ones who keep on producing is the discipline to bring the talent to bear on fresh new ideas.
Jack@TheJackB commented on 'Body Surfing the Web'tag:typepad.com,2003:6a00d8341c581e53ef014e605a7753970c2011-04-03T17:29:41Z2011-04-03T17:29:41ZJack@TheJackBhttp://www.thejackb.comI don't do all that much online reading anymore.. (Thank G-d for Spiderman, or I wouldn't have enough really great modern quotes.) You* have the power. Sometimes a blogger just gives up because she/he has no idea her/his voice is valued. (*That was the royal you. Referring not necessarily to Trep, but to any reader.)
