Ain't Technology Grand?
These pictures were taken yesterday from my sister's iphone... sent to my cell phone.. and uploaded directly to my blog. I posted them on my way to work this morning (someone else was driving). If this actually works I'll be shocked.
The photos were taken yesterday by my younger sister Elizabeth, who treated Ari and Gili to a tour of the Moma (Museum of Modern Art, for you non-New Yorkers), followed by rowing in Central Park and a delicious (from what I hear) dinner.
I'm so jealous!

Welcome to the world of moblogging, Trep. I guess we can now expect snapshots from on the road down to the south -on the days when you're not driving, of course- and such curiosities.
Btw., you can do the same on twitter.

Very cool...

Anyone notice the background in Ari's picture? That's the famous Dakota apartment building, where John Lennon lived...

...and died. [Sharp eyes, Marsha!]
Technology is a remarkable thing. Without modern Internet technology, I wouldn't ever have known of you or your family's existence. But I do...and my life is just a little bit richer as a consequence.

Technology is awesome and it looks like they are having fun! I'm not so far from the Moma...would have been cute to bump into them :)

That's so cool. Technology...what will they think of next?
So - how's Yonah enjoying being in charge?

You're in NYC?! i had no idea, shoulda come back here to read you more often :-P

a.... Probably not. You see, I'm not allowed to have a cellphone with a camera because I work in a high security facility. So I can publish pictures people send me... but I can't take my own. :-(
Hadassah... No, I think learning how to post things from my cell phone years after most kids have gotten bored with doing so does not qualify me for geekdom. :-)
Val... You've actually gotten to see them in the flesh. Oh, and I finally got to read your post. [sniffle]
Marsha, regretfully back in Stamford... Actually you were two buildings off. If you go here, you can see a view of Central park west looking north (with the Dakota in the foreground, another building next and finally the third building is the one you see behind Ari on my site).
Elisson ... I used to send a lot of time in that neighborhood and it was actually kind of creepy how many tourists would want their picture taken at the spot where he was shot.
Baila ... Totally.
Tanya... Starting to understand yesterday's post a bit better? :-)
tnspr569... Actually my parents house (the family compound) has a private beach in front and a pond behind it, so the kids have plenty of summer stuff to do while they're there.
SaraK... Would you have recognized them? They've grown so much since you were with us!
orieyenta... Let's just say that it will be a tough transition back to being at the bottom of the household food chain.
weese... Hey, I hope you and the Mrs. will have time to say hello to a wayward traveler next week wen I'm in town. I have a little sumthin' for ya.
Steg (dos iz nit der šteg) ... Nope, the kids flew solo this time.

Great photos! I just got the new iPhone and it is an amazing thing. Hopefully they'll soon be "kosher" in Israel too!

Mostly, I was wondering how your kids managed to make me feel 100 years old. But now that you mention it, yes. Yesterday's post does have a different depth, suddenly.

Awww. :( No bee photos on a day off from work either? No moblogging when meeting fellow bloggers in Tel Aviv? That's all the fun... well, at least that's what I call fun.
