A true giver is gone
Some of you may remember I posted a video of 'The Last Lecture' given by CMU professor Randy Pausch late last year. If not, go watch it.
Randy lost his battle with pancreatic cancer yesterday. The world is a poorer place today for his absence.

He was an incredibly brave guy. And sensitive and smart and a stupendous dad. I'm so sorry for his family's loss.

The link is not correct. It should be this (you doubled a part in the URL): http://bogieworks.blogs.com/treppenwitz/2008/04/life-changing-e.html

I heard about this a half hour ago. I just printed out a transcript of his lecture to read while donating blood later this afternoon. I remember it was a truly inspiring talk.

I would have liked to have had the chance to meet him.

A very sad loss.
His time management lecture, also on his website, is extremely valuable. I got a lot out of it. (For example, right now, I'm wasting time commenting on a blog...)

Also, small correction: he died Friday, three days ago.

After I read your post on him, I saw him on "Oprah". What a great guy. Great attitude and inspriring outlook on life. What a legacy he left his family.
