Baruch Dayan HaEmet

Baruch Dayan HaEmet - Blessed is the True Judge.

This is the blessing said upon hearing the news of someone's death.

About 11:10 AM this morning (Friday), RivkA passed away.

Funeral plans are in the process, and we'll post them as soon as we know.

May RivkA's family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

Please daven (or send happy thoughts) for the memory of RivkA bat Yishaya.

With love and optimism, RivkA's family

I am so sorry. May she rest in peace. I went to the website you posted just the other day and signed up for a chapter of tehillim but only had one chance to say it. What a loss.

Perhaps a fund could be set up to the Israeli Cancer Society (or its equivalent) L'Zecher Nishamata

She was an amazing example. I passed her blog contacts to several friends of mine who were walking the same journey. May she rest in peace.

trep,
i owe you a debt of gratitude. the first time you mentioned rivkA in your blog was when she the cancer metastasized to her brain, and you linked to her blog. i started to follow her blog, and in the process saw that she was a swimming instructor. my kids were in need of a swimming teacher, and had a hard time finding one that would fit their level, schedule, religious strictures, etc. so i emailed rivkA, and immediately took to her. i am happy that my kids had the opportunity to have rivkA as a teacher and role model.
heres to you.
