<p>Don Norman wrote _The Psychology of Everyday Things_. (Now published under the name _The Design of Everyday Things_. And, no, I don't have it wrong, thank you very much. I own a first edition with the original title.) Dr Norman's book got me to thinking about affordance in design and knowledge-in-the-world vs knowledge-in-the-head.</p>
