Good news and bad news

The good news:

It is looking like the docs are pretty much settled on viral pleurisy as the cause of my symptoms.

The bad news:

They want to keep me here until tomorrow for more tests and observation just to be sure.

I once had something viral that caused chest pains too, and I was 22! Thank G-d it's nothing worse. Feel better soon!

I am thinking it's payback for you going to that awesome hotel in India without Zahava. :)

Feel better!

Hachlama Mehira!

Refuah shleima, Trep. If it was me, I'd have gone AMA on the first day, and never mind the chicken! Remember that post about the smells in India? Maybe something snuck under the radar while you were distracted!

Feel better soon and hope you're back in the loving arms of your family asap.

Refuah sheleimah, buddy...probably caught this from inhaling the fumes of too much garam masala...

Hope you're sprung soon. and feeling better. still dont know what pleuricy is (or how to spell it).

Posted by: Baila | Nov 25, 2008 7:57:40 AM

"Refuah shleima, Trep. " Of course, I am going about this phonetically, like some Asian actors in the USA.

I hope I got this better than my disastrous "felicitous nates" birthday greeting to my brother some years back.

Get well, my brutha. ;o/

I am so sorry to hear that you are sick. It is likely Mumbai where you caught it. The combination of hideous pollution and humidity is an incubator for terrible bronchial and lung nasties. It doesn't help that people cough and splutter all over you, sans hands or handkerchiefs. Get well real soon.

I'm sorry. Pleurisy truly does suck. Be better soon!

I hope you're 100% by now. If not, best wishes for a speedy recovery.
