Guns don't kill people...

... apparently tractors kill people.

Another heavy equipment terror attack just occured on Jerusalem's crowded streets.  Another Arab terrorist is off to meet his 72 virgins.  I can only pray that they are all male... and none too tender about their first time.

I really have nothing constructive to say about this.

Does that mean the first episode wasn't a random accident, after all? Not a case of malfunctioning construction equipment? Shocking.

How about a moratorium on hiring Arab bulldozer-drivers in Jersualem? Oh, wait, that would make too much sense.

Snide remarks aside, (which does not include you, David) what this attack means, besides the attempt to hurt Israelis, is that another avenue for economic betterment for the Palestinian population will have to be closed off to those who need it the most. How do the Palestinians expect to dig themselves out of the hole that they and others including Israel have put them in if their constituents continue too act against their own economic interests?

really aggravates me:

The incident comes three weeks after a similar rampage in Jerusalem -- which Israel also called a terrorist attack .

Right. Because this sort of thing is a normal, every day occurrence and calling it terrorism would be a complete misstating of the facts.

Ridiculous.

Thanks for the tiny bit of humor.

I'm so angry!

The news here is reporting it as a miracle. Sounds like someone lost a leg and it's a FREAKING MIRACLE?!

Oh, the disappointment when he gets to meet his "virgins"...

Sorry, off-topic, but will there probably a life streaming of your NBN panel talk? End of August is slightly too early to join in live and in technicolour...

Jordan - snide remarks aside, that's pretty much what I was trying to say. But I really don't feel bad for the Palestinians. As usual, they are their own worst enemies. Someday, when they start blaming their so-called leaders rather than Israel, maybe they'll get somewhere.

You joke, but the "pshat" of the Quran may be that the "virgins" are little boys.

52:17-29 And they shall have boys [ghilmaan] circulating among them as if they were hidden pearls.

56:22-23 and dark-eyed ones [hoorun 'eenun], the like of hidden pearls

76:19 And immortal boys [wildaanun mukhalladoona] will circulate among them, when you see them you will count them as scattered pearls.
