15-9-91
I may write it in a slightly different order than I used to, but the date is still very much worth noting.
It is now 7:00AM and waiting upstairs on the breakfast table are:
- Freshly ground/brewed Sumatra Coffee
- Fresh orange juice
- Eggs (kid's omelets & 2 'over easy' for Zahava)
- Toasted rolls
- Butter and fig jam
- Jerusalem Post
It's time to wake up Zahava and remind her that it's been 14 years (according to the Gregorian calendar), since she agreed to become Mrs. Treppenwitz (OK, maybe she didn't anticipate that particular honor).
Miraculously we haven't (yet) killed each other... and whatever damage we may have inflicted upon the children can (hopefully) be sorted out by a few competent therapists.
Here's to [G-d willing] many more years of making it up as we go along.

'... and whatever damage we may have inflicted upon the children can (hopefully) be sorted out by a few competent therapists.' LOL. I often say the same thing about mine :-)

Mazal tov, David (and Zahava!)
Marriages that last fourteen years are, alas, not as common as they formerly were - at least, here in the States. I hope the statistics are better in Eretz Yisrael.
Somehow, SWMBO and I have managed twenty-eight years together as husband and wife, so you know that anything is possible. We've found that the ability to make each other laugh is one of the keys to a long-lasting, happy marriage.
May you and yours enjoy many wonderful years together, without limit to any good thing.

Mazel tov!
And cheers on your thought about therapists for your kids....when I do something wrong in the parenting department, I always think....there's another year on the couch.

Thank you all for your good wishes. Zahava and I just got back from the local burger joint (Burgers Bar) where we enjoyed a couple of nice steak salads. The best part was that we didn't have to cut anyone's food... plead for anyone to finish their vegetables... or listen to anyone bicker. That right there beats an evening of dancing at the Rainbow Room in my book!

Congratulations and may there be many more - and many more dinners with kids' food to cut too!

Happy belated Anniversary! (Whoah! If you guys are making it up as you go along, it could be fairly amazing if you actually put some effort into it. ;) ) Mazal Tov!

Belated Mazel Tov to you and Zahava on your wedding anniversary.
One question: Why did you have to wake up and REMIND HER of the anniversary? Usually it's the gals who remember and the guys who forget!
